Range Rules

Code of Conduct

Appropriate behaviour, respect is required of you to be in the range.
Below outlines our range rules and accepted member
etiquette.

Equipment Rules

  • The Ranges (indoors and outdoors) and their usage is under the strict direction of the Head of Performance and the club Captain.

  • The computer is NOT for general use and is definitely NOT for playing music (speakers are available at the side and can be used only with the consent of everyone present).

  • After use of range tools (fletching glue and jig, allen keys, BOW SCALE, drawlength arrow, etc.), they must be returned to the black tool trolley before you leave.

    • FLETCHING GLUE must be shut properly after use.

  • Access to the workshop is restricted.

  • The arrow saw in the workshop must only be used by Captain/Vice-Captain approved members.

  • No more than 30 arrows should be shot at a target, after which it should be moved to preserve longevity of the wall.

  • Use of new target faces should be limited. If you are scoring, and the lines of the middle rings are beyond recognition (you shoot out the middle) use centre-replacement stickers where possible (usually stored on the filing cabinet). Replace with a new target face as a last resort.

  • After each session, remove your target face from the wall and store on the side or throw away if target face is beyond use.

  • Equipment must not be stored in the workshop unless explicitly allowed.

  • DO NOT TOUCH anyone else's kit without prior permission.

  • Hot food is NEVER permitted in the range.

  • You MUST take all of your rubbish with you, or bin it in the bins provided throughout and outside the range.
